the filter automation at the beginning and the prominent counter melody are very good pieces of work

hmm, in this version the 'shuffle' rhythm fill is much more prominent, which helps to introduce much more variation in terms of rhythm. that's a bit more pleasant to hear, but i think the filter/envelope or 'L.F.O.' work on the first one was a bit better, no matter, i liek this one more overrall i guess

well, at the beginning the decay on the portamento is a bit longer than in the original, that changes up the harmony a bit but i think i like it more, it's quite 'different'; though throughout the melody rhythm is a bit 'square', as in the rhythmic variation is a bit low, but that's okay
